Actor Lokit Phulwani on Christmas: It’s a time for family, giving, love, and reflection on the values of kindness and compassion

Actor Lokit Phulwani says that Christmas is very significant for him. He adds that he loves spending time with his loved ones on Christmas. 

“Christmas is a celebration that marks the birth of Jesus Christ for Christians.

To me, it’s a time for family, giving, love, and reflection on the values of kindness and compassion. It’s also become a cultural holiday celebrated by many around the world, symbolizing peace, joy, and goodwill,” he says.

Talking about his Christmas memories, he adds, “My Christmas memories often revolve around family time and moments of togetherness. Some common traditions include decorating a Christmas tree, exchanging gifts and indulging in Christmas treats. These rituals create lasting memories that make each Christmas special and unique.”

He says, “Finding a balance between professional commitments and family time during the holidays can be challenging but prioritising and planning can help. We need to set clear boundaries for work hours, communicate our availability to colleagues, and delegate tasks where possible. Remember, it’s important to recharge and connect with loved ones during this special time, so I try to make the most of these special moments that we have together.”
