Actress Payal Ghosh reacts to Shefali Jariwala's death requesting Government to take strict action against doctors prescribing life-threatening medicines like ozempic

Actress Payal Ghosh is currently heartbroken after the sudden and shocking demise of actress Shefali Jariwala at the mere age of just 42. As per several reports in the media, cardiac arrest is said to be the reason behind the death. Over the years, the rise of young people succumbing to sudden and untimely heart attacks has become immensely common and Shefali's case has once again brought spotlight to this matter that deserves attention. Now, after the tragic demise of Shefali Jariwala, actress Payal Ghosh has made an emotional request to the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding doctors in India who are easily recommending medicines that are hazardous to health.

Payal took to her social media handle to share,

" @narendramodi sir today's MD and psychiatrists are prescribing type 2 diabetic medicine to actors for losing weight, I have also been prescribed...but I'm a literate kid...but not slim from the film industry." She further added,

"I am extremely against medicines like the ozempic. Doctors in Mumbai are openly prescribing these life-threatening medicines for little money at the cost of lives @narendramodi sir. I hope you will take action against it." Describing the hazardous effects of how such medicines can play with your insulin level and damage your heart, Payal concluded by saying,

"It's my earnest request to everyone that please don't take medicines like ozempic or any such medicine which is of type 2 diabetic or any medicine whatsoever that claims to help you lose weight. I must say this because these medicines eventually play up with your insulin level which affects the heart level. It has the potential to do every kind of damage to the body. That's why I say that if you are not diabetic, it will kill you. I don't know the details of Shefali Jariwala's death but since the time Ozempic came into the scenario, my doctors around me were prescribing these kinds of medicines to me as well. I started feeling that even consumption of mild hot water makes me feel so weak. Drinking that water makes my sugar level drop. How on earth can we take any medicine that's specifically made to drop the sugar level in your body when it is absolutely fine? I request everyone to think a thousand times before even thinking of taking such medicines. I am completely against it and I am just trying to share the right knowledge of people around. May Shefali Jariwala's soul rest in peace and may her family and near ones get the strength to bear with this tragic loss."

Her concluding statement reads,

"It shocks to me see her pass away like this at the age of the 42. I mean she was all healthy and fine, used to workout, swim and do everything necessary for fitness. Its so unfortunate. Off-late, we have seen many cases of young heart attacks where people passed at young ages due to consumption of such medicines that impact the heart. Doctors recommend such medicines so easily and due to pressure of entertainment industry, many take it as well. I am 10000 percent sure this is all by the so hep medicines which doctors are targetting against easy target celebs like us where even I was one of them."

I really feel a proper investigation should be done on that aspect to make more people aware about the right cause.” Kudos to Payal for shedding light on such a pertinent subject that involves young people losing their lives due to untimely heart attacks. Here's hoping her message goes loud and clear and reaches the right ears.
