Mumbai: Sandalwood actress and ‘Dimple Queen’ Rachita Ram’s birthday celebrations have continued through the week, with fans coming together in large numbers to celebrate their favourite star and make the occasion a grand fan festival. Expressing her gratitude, Rachita thanked fans from different states across the country for their overwhelming love and wishes, saying she feels their warmth and blessings are a blessing from God.

The celebrations began on October 3, with thousands of fans gathering outside Rachita’s Rajarajeshwari Nagar residence. The area turned into a vibrant celebration zone, with massive cutouts of the actress showcasing some of her popular movie roles, adorned with giant flower garlands. The festivities carried a strong traditional flavour, with fans bursting crackers, distributing sweets and performing customary rituals, including breaking pumpkins to ward off the evil eye.

The midnight celebrations became the highlight as Rachita stepped out to meet her fans and cut her birthday cake amid loud cheers. Singer Sunil also added to the celebrations with a special performance of “Racchu Acchu Mecchu”, a song written for the actress, making the moment even more memorable for Rachita and her supporters.

The actress has continued to personally acknowledge the love coming her way, meeting supporters, accepting their gifts and posing for photographs. Speaking about the overwhelming response, Rachita said, “Namaste!
