People Media Factory takes the blockbuster Zombie Reddy to the Nxt Lvl, announces the Teja Sajja starrer's sequel on his birthday

The zombies are BACK and this time, they’re bigger, badder and bloodier than ever before!

On the occasion of superstar Teja Sajja’s birthday, the makers of the blockbuster Zombie Reddy at People Media Factory have officially announced its highly anticipated sequel, titled Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl. Following the huge success of the original, the franchise is now set to return with a second chapter that promises to take its scale, action and zombie mayhem to the next level.

The announcement offers an adrenaline-pumping glimpse into a world overrun by the undead. In a sequence destined for the history books, Superstar Teja Sajja is seen standing entirely alone against an unrelenting wave of thousands of zombies, immediately setting the tone for the epic scale of the sequel. A high-octane adventure zombie action-comedy, Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl also stars Real Star Upendra in a powerhouse role and marks the South Indian cinema debut of Shanaya Kapoor.

This spectacle is directed by visionary filmmaker Suparn S. Varma, acclaimed for his stellar work on The Family Man 2, Rana Naidu, and Haq and is created by master storyteller Prasanth Varma, the mind behind the original groundbreaking hit. Bringing the chaos to life is a soundtrack composed by Gowra Hari, known for his record-breaking music in HanuMan and Mirai.

Produced on a massive scale by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad, the screenplay is penned by a powerhouse writing trio of Hussain Dalal, Prasanth Varma, and Suparn S. Varma. Taking its international ambitions several notches higher, the film is set to release globally in seven languages - Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Nepali, and Japanese.

**Superstar Teja Sajja:** “For me, the most rewarding part of this journey has been the freedom to take chances and trust the audience to come along. *Zombie Reddy* was one such leap, and the way people embraced that world and my character gave us the confidence to dream much bigger. *Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl* is that dream taken several steps further. The scale, the action and the world we have created are far more ambitious this time, and I’m excited to see how audiences respond to it.

As I celebrate another birthday, I couldn’t have asked for a better gift than returning to a franchise that means so much to me. We’ve raised the stakes, brought in an incredible team and pushed ourselves to create something truly entertaining. I’m looking forward to stepping back into the zombie-verse and making this next chapter an experience worth celebrating.”

Director Suparn S. Varma: "Every society creates monsters to process its deepest, collective anxieties. Zombies have always been the ultimate figments of our catastrophisation—they reflect our fear of losing control, of the breakdown of order. The plan with Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl was to attempt the unprecedented. Having spent years crafting grounded, hyper-realistic political and emotional friction in projects, transitioning into this unapologetically chaotic sandbox is such a thrill.

A huge shout out to the foundational brilliance that Prasanth Varma created. We hope to take that to the next level for a visceral cinematic experience."

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad: "The economics of global cinema have fundamentally shifted; audiences no longer look at films through a cultural footprint. At People Media Factory, our philosophy is architecting massive, multi-genre cultural events in the name of cinema that resonates.

Our sequel Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl is the epitome of that vision. And next level is very much the theme of the way we're piecing this epic adventure together to give the audience a zombieverse they can own. We are aligning choicest narrative sensibilities with world-class technical assets to create a product that translates  across borders, whether in Hyderabad or Tokyo. Releasing across seven languages including Nepali and Japanese is a strategic statement about the universal language of this high-concept entertainment. The scale is immense, the stakes are dead or alive, and by 2027, we look at mapping out a new blueprint for what cross-cultural Indian commercial cinema can achieve on the world stage."

With the dead rising again and lining up against Teja Sajja, Zombie Reddy Nxt Lvl has set its sights on becoming the biggest cinematic spectacle.
